Frequently asked questions

Is the price I see the price I pay?
The figure we show is an accurate estimate built from the official AMB tariff and the real road distance of your route. The amount you actually pay is whatever the taxi meter shows at the end of the trip, which can vary slightly with traffic and the exact route taken. Our 20% booking fee is separate and is paid online when you reserve.
Why is there a 20% booking fee?
Barcelona taxi fares are fixed by the AMB, so no taxi can charge more or less than the meter. Our booking fee is a separate service charge for reserving and guaranteeing your car in advance, assigning a driver, and giving you tracking and support. It is shown to you before you pay and receipted separately.
Can I get an invoice?
Yes. The official invoice for the journey is the taxi meter invoice, which your driver will give you in the car on request. We email you a separate receipt for the booking fee.
Where do I meet my driver at El Prat?
Your driver waits in the arrivals hall of your terminal with a name sign, and follows your flight so a delay does not lose your car. The exact meeting point is in your confirmation email.
Can I book for the next hour?
Online bookings need at least three hours' notice so we can assign a driver reliably. For anything sooner, message us on WhatsApp and we will confirm a car directly if one is available.
How much luggage can I bring?
Each vehicle lists its passenger and bag capacity. A standard taxi takes up to 4 passengers and 3 bags; the Mercedes V-Class takes 7 passengers and 7 bags. If you are carrying oversized items such as bicycles or skis, tell us in the booking notes.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel at least 24 hours before pickup and the booking fee is refunded in full. See our refund policy for the details.
Do you pick up outside Barcelona?
Not yet. At the moment pickups must be inside Barcelona city or at El Prat airport. Your destination, however, can be anywhere.
