What a Barcelona airport transfer taxi costs
The fare runs on the official AMB meter. From El Prat you pay the metered amount plus the fixed airport supplement, and there is a minimum airport fare that applies to very short trips. In practice a ride from the airport into central Barcelona typically lands in the mid-thirties to low-forties in euros, higher at night and at weekends when the T-2 tariff applies. Where your driver meets you at arrivals
Your driver waits inside the arrivals hall of your terminal with a name sign and tracks your flight number, so a delayed landing does not cost you the car. The exact meeting point for T1 and T2 is included in your confirmation email.
Terminal 1 and Terminal 2
Both terminals have official taxi ranks, and both are served by our drivers. T1 handles most long-haul and Vueling traffic; T2 serves many low-cost carriers. The fare difference between them is small — a couple of kilometres — but T1 is slightly further from the city.
